SUPPORT PROGRAMS. Oakville Hydro would also like to remind customers that we offer several programs to those having difficulty paying their electricity bills:
COVID-19 Energy Assistance Program for Small Business
The COVID-19 Energy Assistance Program for Small Business (CEAP-SB) is an on-bill credit for eligible small business and registered charity customers to help them catch up on their energy bills and resume regular payments.
CEAP-SB funding is limited. Oakville Hydro will process applications in the order in which they are received. Submitting an application for CEAP-SB to Oakville Hydro does not guarantee funding.
Visit www.oakvillehydro.com/CEAPSB to lean more and apply.
COVID-19 Business Support Grants
The Government of Ontario also announced the temporary COVID-19 Business Support Grants program to help businesses that were required to shut down or restrict services due to provincial public health measures. The rebate will fully offset energy costs for electricity and natural gas (or heating oil/propane) for eligible businesses, as well as property tax.
Starting November 16, 2020, businesses can apply for grants online. Interested in applying?
