On January 7, 2019, the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) approved new distribution rates for Oakville Hydro.
Effective January 1, 2019, the monthly bill for a typical residential customer who uses 750 kWh per month will decrease by $1.48 per month or 1.3%. The monthly bill for a small business customer who uses 2,000 kWh per month will increase by $1.46 per month or 0.5%.
Oakville Hydro Electricity Distribution Inc. purchases the electricity we deliver to customers at market prices and earns no margin on the sale of the commodity.
