Update: Canada Post Service Disruption Paying Your Electricity Bill
Canada Post is experiencing a service disruption with rotating strikes taking place.

“While negotiations continue, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has decided to initiate strike action. Canada Post continues to operate across Canada. We are accepting and delivering mail and parcels in all other locations. We remain committed to arriving at a negotiated settlement with CUPW, while making every effort to minimize the impact of any disruption on the customers we serve. Customers may experience minor delays as a result of the rotating strike action.”
Customers are still required to pay their Oakville Hydro invoice for hydro and water services. Payment options are listed below.

eBilling - When you sign up for eBilling, you will receive an email notification whenever a new bill is created. It’s free and it’s easy! Sign up now. Current eBilling customers will continue to receive eBills.
Automatic Payment Plan - Our automatic payment plans (APPs) provide you with the option of having payments automatically withdrawn from your bank account. We offer a Basic Plan and an Equal Payment Plan. To learn more about these plans, click here. To register for an APP, click here.
At Your Financial Institution - You can pay through local banks and trust companies on-line or in person. You can also pay by credit card through a bill payment system. Credit card payments may be made online at this link. Please note that there is a 1.75% fee. Please allow three to five days for your payment to reach us.
In Person - You can drop off your payment at our office located at 861 Redwood Square, which is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You can also use the drop box located just outside our building entrance or at Oakville’s Town Hall at 1225 Trafalgar Road.
Oakville Hydro will continue to deliver bills to Canada Post. Customers are urged to sign up for eBilling and/or one of our pre-authorized payment plans to avoid missing a payment.
