COVID-19 Response – Keeping the Community and Our Employees Safe

(Oakville, ON) March 15, 2020 - The priority of Oakville Hydro has always been the safety of our staff and the community. 
Our employees remain ready to assist during outages and interruptions, and are committed to providing you with safe and reliable electricity throughout this COVID-19 pandemic.

To reduce the potential spread of COVID-19, we have taken significant steps to enact social distancing as advised by Health Canada.

  • Our office, 861 Redwood Square, is open to essential employees only.
  • Customers looking for assistance or needing to pay bills, can contact our customer service representatives using the methods below.
  • Employees who are able to complete their jobs remotely, have been encouraged to work from home.

These steps are precautionary measures and the length of time for this closure is undetermined.  We will continue to monitor conditions and inform the community when the office re-opens.

Your patience and understanding is appreciated as we do our part to beat this pandemic.

Payment Options

We offer many different payment options to make paying your bill as simple and convenient as possible.

Method Details
Paperless Billing Simplify monthly payments by signing up for paperless billing.  We will email you each time a new bill is available.  Paperless billing is free, secure and convenient.  Sign up now at www.oakvillehydro.com/paperless 
Automatic Payment Plan Our automatic payment plans provide you with the option of having payments automatically withdrawn from your bank account.  We offer a Basic Plan and an Equal Payment Plan (EPP). To learn more about these plans, visit www.oakvillehydro.com
Credit Card You can pay by credit card through a bill payment system, Kubra EZ - Pay.  To make a credit card payment online, visit www.oakvillehydro.com
Mail  You can use the return envelope provided with your bill to send your payment to us by mail.  Please be sure to mail your payment three to five days prior to the due date on the invoice to ensure that your payment reaches us on time.
Drop Box   You can also drop off your payment in the drop box located just outside of our building entrance at 861 Redwood Square.
