Automatic Payment Plans

Automatic Payment Plans, you will receive a bill as normal, but the amount will be with drawn from your bank account on the due date on the bill. This plan is available for all Oakville Hydro customers, and allows you to know exactly how much will be deducted from your account and when it will be paid without you having to lift a finger.

Equal Payment Plan, a billing option where customer pays an equal amount each month for a specified period of time, and then is trued-up to their actual consumption. This helps smooth out the fluctuations brought about by the competitive market.

Under the plan, you will be charged an equal amount every month, based on predictions of your consumption for the year. To ensure that the equal payment amount that you will be billed is in line with your actual usage, your account will be examined periodically over the course of the billing year. If at any of those examination times it is found that an adjustment to your equal payment amount is required, you will be notified accordingly.

When you join the Equal Payment Plan, you have the option of having your payment made on either the 2nd or the 16th of each month.

For your convenience, you may enter or exit the plan at anytime. However, if you enter into either plan any outstanding balance must paid in full.

  • If you choose the EPP, mark the date you wish your payment to be made each month.
  • To sign the authorization form after printing it.
  • To include a cheque marked 'VOID'
  • To pay any current balance.
