1. Contest open to all adult residential customers of Oakville Hydro except for employees of Oakville Hydro Corporation and its affiliated companies, participating sponsors, and their respective advertizing and promotional agencies, and all persons with whom they are domiciled.
   
2. Free retractable clotheslines to the first 50 entrants
1. The first 50 entrants will be required to pick up their clothesline at Oakville Hydro, 861 Redwood Square, Oakville ON L6L 6N3 during business hours 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday

4. Submission Process
1. Provide a written description explaining your ideas for greening the process of doing laundry
2. Contest submissions must include the following mandatory information:
1. Contestant name
2. Contestant daytime phone number
3. Oakville Hydro account #
3. Contest submissions can be:

5. Contest dates are:
1. May 23, 2009 through to June 30, 2009
2. To be eligible all entries must be received no later than 11.59pm, Tuesday, June 30, 2009
3. Winner selection process from all entries received will occur during the week of July 6, 2009 at Oakville Hydro
4. Winners will be announced July 9, 2009 at 2:00pm with winners being contacted by phone within 72 hours of the decision, during regular business hours
   
6. Prizes
1. One of 10 $25.00 Gift Certificates to AMC Theatres
2. Grand Prize is a Gift Certificate for Fine Dining at an Oakville restaurant to a value of $250.00
3. Winners will be required to pick up their prize at Oakville Hydro, 861 Redwood Square, Oakville, ON during business hours 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
   
7. Winner Selection and Awarding of Prizes
1. All entries will be reviewed by a panel of 3 experts in the field of energy conservation
2. All entries will be judged on the impact the idea has on saving electricity
3. No substitution for, or transfer of the prizes will be allowed
4. Winners will be notified by telephone within 72 hours of the decision date and time
5. If a selected entrant cannot be reached within 72 hours of the decision date and time, another entrant will be selected
6. Selected winners will be required to sign a standard declaration and release form confirming compliance with the contest rules, acceptance of the prize as awarded and releasing the contest sponsors from all liability relating to the prize
7. The chances of being selected depend on the total number of entries received
8. By entering the contest entrants consent to the use of their name and/or photograph without further compensation, in any further publicity carried out by Oakville Hydro in connection with the contest
9. This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws
10. All entries become the property of Oakville Hydro Electricity Distribution Inc and no correspondence will be entered into except with the selected entrants who will be notified by phone
