Oakville Hydro Electricity Distribution Inc. has applied to the Ontario Energy Board to increase the amount it charges by approximately $0.65 each month for a typical residential customer beginning on January 1, 2015. The Notice of Application established cost award eligibility in relation to Oakville Hydro Electricity Distribution Inc.â€™s request to recover the costs for damage caused by the 2013 ice storm. On September 12, 2014, the Ontario Energy Board expanded cost award eligibility to include eligibility for costs related to Oakville Hydro Electricity Distribution Inc.â€™s request for a deferral account to track the impact of the half-year rule on 2014 test year capital additions.
